@xkeltoix Not one of those things couldn’t have been done without the free market. Do you think government produces anything? If you do, I got bridges to sell you in New York. They produce nothing. The government is just a customer, a consumer, nothing more.

The Internet was a free market development. Computers, a free market development. If we let the government handle anything the internet would only be useful to UCLA and DARPA.

If you think government is better than the market, why don’t you go to places where a complete command economy is in operation, like, Cuba. See for yourself.

Christ if I had a nickel from every commie who said that “true communism” has never been tried, I’d never have to work. Give it up, morons. In order for communism to work the way you think it ought to work, people have to be subdued and controlled lest any one of them achieves a bit more success and reaps the benefit. If someone wants to leave that commune and succeed without having to be forced not to and give what he makes to the state, the state would have to keep him prisoner.

@ThePenWolf the government funded so much of what we use everyday. The market has some major catching up to do. you should read the communist manifesto. If you did, you would be very embarrased of yourself if you said communism has been tried. communism requires that all world governments be destroyed.

The government produces a lot, throughout the world. GPS systems, everything NASA does. lol the internet started with the military. not to mention most e-business recieves government funding.

@xkeltoix The Moon Landing? Idiot! The Moon Landings were one of the biggest boondoggles in American History; a complete waste of government money. They’re the most beloved wastes of money, but they’re wastes of money because we got not return on investment. Nothing but six flags on the moon and some rocks. The whole space race was contrived; the Soviets were not more tech advanced as we were. Not by a long shot. They’re still lagging far behind us. That was a bad example, kid.
